I attended this wonderful 2022 Canadian ARCC (Applied Research and Cancer Control) conference on cancer that was held virtually on May 16-17, 2022.
This was my second time attending and presenting our work in this conference – in both cases, I participated from home using a virtual platform offered by the Conference. What a delightful experience!
Virtual (or hybrid conferences that include both in-person and virtual attendance options) are so affordable and equitable. Since the beginning of the pandemic, many organizations moved to virtual, and lately hybrid options, in order to accommodate participants like myself, who are looking for a safe and affordable option. I hope that we will continue to have such options so that participation becomes more equitable and many more people can afford it.
I personally thank organizations for utilizing virtual meeting platforms, which makes all these possible.
Another great feature of this Conference was that we could live-tweet the conference! This way, we can disseminate the key points – as much as we can – to the general public.

Until next time, folks.
Please stay safe and well, and enjoy the Spring!
